WoW TCG Scanner ("the App") is provided by mtsack (independent developer). This policy describes how the App handles information.
Summary
The App stores your card collection and scan images on your device only. We do not operate user accounts or a backend that stores your personal data. Optional features may send data to third parties as described below.
Information stored on your device
- Scanned card images — saved in the app's private storage
- Collection data — card names, sets, quantities, notes in a local database
- Preferences — view mode, eBay region, premium purchase flag
This data is not synced to our servers. Uninstalling the App removes local data unless you have exported it elsewhere.
Camera and photos
The App requests camera access to scan cards and photo library access to import images or save scans. Images are processed on-device for text recognition (OCR).
Third-party services
Google AdMob (free version)
The free version displays ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy. Users in the EEA/UK see a consent dialog before personalized ads.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details.
Marketplace price lookup (optional)
When configured, the App may send card search queries to:
- eBay Browse API
- TCGPlayer API (optional)
- CardMarket API (optional)
Queries contain card names and set information, not personal identifiers.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
